Learn to Grow in the Garden - Dwarf Conifer Garden

Monday August 14, 2017- Dwarf Conifer Garden
Katie Steinhoff, Botanical Center Coordinator
Travel by tram on a garden tour with Katie Steinhoff to a quiet corner of the Springfield Botanical Gardens and be introduced to some of the most dazzling display of colors, snazzy shapes and exceptional textures of the Dwarf Conifer Garden. Home gardeners and landscapers should appreciate this group of plants that provide year-round interest, and generally maintain a manageable size. Dwarf conifers are the anchors and exclamation points of garden design. We will discuss the soils and best growing conditions, disease and insects and name the specific cultivars and companions of interest in our garden.
